The Middstore, owned and operated by Middlebury College, serves as a central campus resource located in the lower level of Proctor Hall. Staffed by college employees, the Middstore supports both academic needs and student life, remaining closely integrated with the Middlebury College community.
Students rely on the Middstore for course supplies, Middlebury apparel, and a wide range of essential items that support daily campus living. While required textbooks are available through eCampus, the store provides convenient access to supplies that help students stay organized and prepared throughout the semester. As part of Apple’s Authorized Campus Store Education Program, the Middstore offers educational pricing on Apple products and provides on-campus repair drop-off services. A certified Apple technician visits multiple times per week, giving students reliable, accessible technology support right on campus.
Because the Middstore is college-operated, revenues first cover operating expenses, and remaining profits are placed into the College’s general fund — directly supporting Middlebury College programs and initiatives. For incoming students navigating the transition to college, having academic resources and tech services available on campus helps simplify daily life from move-in onward.
