Most colleges and universities provide a bed frame and mattress, but students are responsible for bringing their own bedding, including sheets, pillows, and comforters. Because most residence halls use Twin XL mattresses, it’s important to choose bedding designed to properly fit those beds.

Most residence halls use Twin XL mattresses, which are about five inches longer than a standard twin bed. Twin XL sheets and comforters are designed to properly fit these campus mattresses, and our sheets will also fit comfortably on a standard twin bed. Because bed sizes can vary by school, we recommend checking your college or university’s housing website to confirm the mattress size used in your residence hall.

We recommend ordering early for the best selection and the smoothest move-in experience. Popular styles can sell out as move-in gets closer, so ordering ahead helps ensure you get what you want in time.

Prior to move-in, families should only ship orders directly to campus if the school allows it. Many colleges and universities have limited package space or special instructions for when and where items can be delivered before move-in. Because of this, many families choose to ship their order home first so they can wash bedding and have everything ready for move-in day. Some campuses partner with Campus Ready to deliver orders directly to campus. If your school offers this option, it will appear as a delivery option during checkout.
