University Housing – Live. Learn. Engage. at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
University Housing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater creates inclusive, engaging residential communities designed to support student learning and personal success. With more than 4,000 Warhawks living on campus across 15 residence halls — from the high-rise Wells Halls to Pulliam Hall suites — campus living is a defining part of the UW-Whitewater experience.
Guided by the mission to provide quality, accessible housing, Residence Life focuses on helping students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and professionally. Students can choose from two-person rooms, single rooms, two-bedroom pods, and four-bedroom suites, creating flexible options that support different lifestyles and stages of college. Living in campus housing encourages independence while strengthening peer relationships, helping students form life-long friendships and develop valuable problem-solving skills. In fact, 85% of students report improved problem-solving abilities, and 82% say campus housing helped them balance commitments — all within a community supported by 24/7 campus security.
For students transitioning to college, residence halls at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater provide a structured yet welcoming environment where learning continues beyond the classroom.
University Housing & Campus Ready: Supporting Move-In at UW-Whitewater
Campus Ready partners with University Housing because preparation enhances the residential experience. When incoming students arrive organized for move-in, they can focus on meeting roommates, adjusting to independent living, and engaging fully in campus life at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
By supporting families as they plan for campus housing, Campus Ready helps reduce last-minute stress and streamline arrival day. A smoother move-in process allows new Warhawks to settle into their residence halls quickly and begin building connections from day one.
Together with University Housing, Campus Ready works to make move-in at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater easier while strengthening the student experience.
